20 Irresistibly Simple Needle Felting Projects

This adorable book introduces the basic techniques for needle felting, with step-by-step instructions and how-to photos for crafting 20 irresistible projects featuring the Woolbuddy characters. Needle felting is the simple art of hand-sculpting objects with wool by stabbing a tuft of wool with a barbed needle into a desired shape. Wrapped up in a must-have package with a diecut window, this book will win the hearts of Renegade Craft Fair and Etsy shoppers, fans of cuteness, the DIY blog/Creative Bug set and Comic-Con nerds.

About the Author(s)
Jackie Huang

Jackie Huang is a Korean-born, San Rafael-based artist. He created Woolbuddy in 2009 after he'd grown frustrated with the mass-produced toys on the market, so he used his background as an animator for Lucasfilm to create the collection of unique characters for his daughter. He has since left Lucas and devoted himself to growing Woolbuddy by making a book, teaching classes and selling at fairs like Comic-Con (where in the first year he sold out of his toys by the 2nd day), Bazaar Bizarre, Maker Faire, NY Gift Show, Renegade and more. Last year, Jackie began to sell Woolbuddy Kits after receiving so many requests for instructions. Jackie is currently working on a line of toys with a licensor and a line of stationery.
